# Managing Users and Roles

## Managing Users and Roles

Organization administrators can add users, assign one or more roles, and control which workflows each user can access.

## Create a user

1. In the Lendflow Dashboard, select your profile in the lower-left corner.
2. Select **My Organization**, then open the **User Management** tab.
3. Select **Add User**.
4. Enter the user’s first name, last name, and email address.
5. Select one or more roles and complete the available workflow or permissions assignments.
6. Select **Save**. The new user receives an email to verify their account.

<Note>
  **API alternative:** Organization administrators can use [Create User](/api-reference/organization/create-user) to create a user, assign valid organization roles, and send the same email invitation.
</Note>

## User roles

| **User type** | **Short description** |
| - | - |
| Viewer | Organizations’ employees. Has access to the Main dashboard and Deals View. User role mainly has view-only permission (see the table below for more details). |
| Analyst | Assign Processing and Onboarding users to deals. Creating and editing offers & funding details. Ability to move deals through stages. |
| Onboarding | Create, edit, run data orchestration, run data services, progress deals, upload documents, collect and upload stips. |
| Processor | Processor from the organization side, working on underwriting. Processor is having contact with all sides in the pipeline: merchant, client, and lender. Selecting an Onboarding person for a specific deal. |
| Admin | Admin from the organization side. Can create a new user. A person who is monitoring the whole process. Has all available permissions for an organization. |

## Assign multiple roles

A user can have more than one role. For example, a Processor who also manages the organization can be assigned both the **Processor** and **Admin** roles.

1. In the Lendflow Dashboard, select your profile in the lower-left corner.
2. Select **My Organization**, then open the **User Management** tab.
3. Open the menu beside the user and select **Edit**.
4. Select the additional roles in the **User roles** field.
5. Select **Save**.
