# Using the Deals Page

## Using the Deals Page

Use the **Deals** page to search the deals you can access and expand offer or placement details without opening each deal.

## Find deals

1. In the Lendflow Dashboard, open the **Deals** tab in the left-side menu.
2. Select the search field at the top of the deals list.
3. Choose what you want to search, such as a deal, individual name, individual email, individual phone number, business phone number, or deal note.
4. Enter your search term. Results update to match your query.

The Search Engine is the standard search experience on the **Deals** page. Use the following operators when you need to broaden or narrow a query:

| Operator | Use | Example |
| - | - | - |
| Wildcard (`*`) | Match any sequence of characters. | `business*` |
| Fuzzy matching (`~`) | Include terms similar to the search term. | `businwss~` |
| Replace (`?`) | Replace one character. | `Jane Do?` |

## Expand offers and placements

The **Has Offers** and **Has Placements** columns can display nested details. Select the arrow in a column header to expand or collapse its related columns.

* Expand **Has Offers** to compare the offers associated with each deal.
* Expand **Has Placements** to review placement details for each deal.
* When a deal has multiple offers or placements, the expanded section displays a row for each one.
* Collapse the nested columns when you need more room for the rest of the Deals table.

  <Accordion title="What can I search from the Deals page?">
    You can search by deal, individual name, individual email, individual phone number, business phone number, or deal note. Select the search field, then choose the search category before entering the term.

  <Accordion title="Does search include deals I cannot access?">
    No. Search changes how you find deals; it does not grant access to additional records. Results include only deals your Lendflow account allows you to access.

  <Accordion title="How can I search when I do not know the exact spelling?">
    Add `~` to the search term to include similar matches. For example, `businwss~` can return results similar to `business`.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Why do I see multiple rows when I expand offers or placements?">
    A deal can have more than one offer or placement. The nested section displays a separate row for each related record.
