Smartviews can turn the Deals page into a focused queue for a specific task. The examples below are starting points that you can adapt to your workflow.Available columns and filters depend on your role and configuration. Select a column before adding its related filter.Create these examples as individual Smartviews. If your account supports organization Smartviews and you have permission to manage them, you can optionally share a configuration with other users in your organization. Sharing a Smartview does not grant access to additional deals.
Deals Assigned to Me
Create an individual Smartview to keep the deals assigned to you in one place. This can serve as your daily working queue. Suggested columns- Deals
- Deal Stage
- App Started
- Workflow Status
- Funding Amount Requested
- The assignment column for your role, such as Funding Advisor, Underwriter, or Analyst
- Set the assignment filter for your role to Current User, when available. This uses the signed-in user instead of requiring you to select your name.
- Select the Deal Stage values you want to work from, such as the stages your organization considers active.
- Optionally select one or more Workflow Status values to narrow the queue to a specific part of your workflow.
- Sort App Started in descending order to show the newest deals first.
Offers Ready for Review
Create an individual Smartview to keep offers that need your attention in one review queue. Suggested columns- Deals
- Deal Stage
- Number of Offers
- Latest Offer Created
- Highest Offer Amount
- Set Has Offers to Yes.
- Optionally select the Deal Stage values where offers are ready for review.
- Sort Latest Offer Created in descending order.
Funded This Month
Create an individual Smartview to monitor the deals you can access that were funded during the current month. Suggested columns- Deals
- Funded Date
- Funded Amount
- Funder
- Set the Funded Date range to the current month.
- Add any relevant source or funder filters.
- Sort Funded Date in descending order.
High-Value Deal Queue
Create an individual Smartview to prioritize larger funding requests that may require follow-up. Suggested columns- Deals
- Funding Amount Requested
- Deal Stage
- App Started
- Funding Advisor or Underwriter
- Set the minimum Funding Amount Requested for your team’s high-value threshold.
- Select the active Deal Stage values that should remain in the queue.
- Optionally include or exclude specific assignees.
- Sort Funding Amount Requested in descending order.
- Add App Started in ascending order as a second sorting rule to prioritize older deals with the same requested amount.
Save an Ad Hoc Deals Search
When you build a useful filter directly on the Deals page, you can save it instead of recreating it later:- Apply at least one filter on the Deals page.
- Open Configure Deals Smartviews.
- Select the save-current-filters button.
- Name the new Smartview.
- Review its columns, filters, and sorting, then save it.
Build Your Own Smartview
Start by identifying the decision or task the view should support. Then:- Choose only the columns needed to make that decision.
- Add filters that define which deals belong in the queue.
- Add sorting rules that place the most important deals first.
- Save it as an individual Smartview, or optionally share the configuration if organization Smartviews are available to you.
